Instead of fair skin, I would pray God give you a sensible husband. Even if you get lighter skin shade, a wrong man (husband) would put you down on some other thing. Even if you live with your current shade, a good/ mature/ religious person will keep you happy.

Sigh, light skinned girls want to be dark, and dark skinned girls want to be lighter. Try to take what others have to say with a grain of salt, especially if it is about your appearance.

lol fair and lovely doesn't work that well.. its like a chalky substance that momentarily lightens your skin but barely enough for anyone to notice.. Its kinda like the concept of rogain.. In cosmetology school we were taught that these products do nothing at all, and people still consistantly use it. Although they don't really see a change, they want to believe so much that it will work if they just use it for a long time.. Same for fair and lovely. I think it smells nice and makes the skin feel soft, but really anything that messes with your skins pigment is not a good idea. You don't want to end up having a bad reaction and all the sudden have white blotchy skin ( permenently ).. then people will really be commenting on your skin complexion.. you will wish u left it alone.. Hey in every culture there is a perception of beauty, and they are all different.. Here in USA most like to tan they're skin until they look like a hot dog that sat in a pan too long, not to mention they have sun damaged skin and potentially get cancer from doing that.. I bet your beautiful w/o doing that. dont let people put u down.. BTW people will nit pick on anything they themselves can find to make u feel insecure because theyre jealous of what u have.. before Islam I used to be in modeling ( a very mentally degrading job) .. people do they're best to tell u that your not good enough especially compitition to discourage you.. its the same in every other situation, i just realized it more intensly bc my job was my beauty. Tell them to go jump in bleach n back off.. thats so rude.. dont they know that?

nahh..im not rasics MOST of the time...al hamduallah but i still hav to work on it..lol u kno what i mean rite?..anywayz i think ur really beautiful (even if i never met u) becoz allah created beauty in everyone..even the ugliest person on earth, has a beauty. Some ppl hav beauty that every1 can see..lik there hair nd eyes nd lips.etc. but some ppl hav even more beauty..but there beauty can not b seen..u hav to look deeper into there hearts to find it. lol..i think im going a bit too far on this...but i hope it helps = ]

ASA. lollllllllll!!! Alhamdulillah i love my skin colour!!! love it to bits!! sis, it defines you, and i personally dont like fair guys!! i find darker guys mre attractive, its a difference of opinion :p i just read someone elses comment, opposites attract lol very true in some cases :p

i dnt mean to be racist in any of my comments i just dont think theres an attraction in fair guys, but who knows i might end up with one if Allah wills! Im sure guys think in the same way, my auntys are always telling me how their husbands prefered darker women but their husbands mothers think fair is the prettiest and so kept looking for that fair beauty for their sons lol! till the guyz had to say no... give me something toasted!! but obviously looks arent everything ;)

and i hear that guys subconsciously look for symmetry in a potentials face as it shows a sign of good genes! colour was never mentioned in this scientific research lollo

I really don't see the point when guys or people say things like that, thats clealy pretty racist to be honest and discrimination there. Doesnt matter if the woman light skinn or dark,they all beautiful to me. Im a light skinn black guy, people thinks im mixed or spanish or arab, but no on ever thinks im black, but thats ok im kool with that. All i gotta say is brown is beautiful always babyyy!!!

Keep the skin colour Allah has given you :) Allah is beatiful & loves beauty, and i have seen this beauty in nearly every race (obviously havent seen all races) this body is your temporary body for this life so look afer it well :)

ohhh noo!! don't do that... those products have bleach and other chemicals that will hurt you and it's not worth it just to get the acceptance of others!! please dont :( You are beautiful, your skin IS beautiful as it is. It is all psychological, you know? People percieve things that are different and exotic to be beautiful simply because it is not what they normally see. In the U.S. the majority of men go for darker skinned women, this is why they go tan (tanning booths are just as bad as bleaching your skin). Similarly, in other countries, for example, many men in the middle east and asia will think that lighter skinned women are more beautiful and this is why their women use things like far and lovely. Look at me, I have this pasty white skin and I couldn't tan if i tried, only burn or get freckles. Even when i was little i never wore shorts or dresses, not out of modesty, but because even at that young age, i knew people would look with disgust at my blindingly white legs. It is just so silly.... it shouldn't matter what anyone thinks of us, or whether or not this man desires light skin, or this one desires dark. Any one who discriminates on this basis is not worth your time anyway. Just be proud of your color, as it is unique and beautiful, and even if i am the only one who tells you this, know that i'm not lying.

last thing Allah swt has given all the human their share complete 100% but in different ratios , some beauity , heath, wealth, etc, every ine in different ration but end of the day has got the 100 % completely.
