for brothers who are looking

sorry to sound selfish but I aint helpin' my younger single friends...they have muslim families to help them look for a spouse and they have a fair bit longer to look than I have. Also, my dear, pious, younger friends I tend to guard like a jealous older sister....you look at her I'll poke you're eyes out akhi! lol just kidding.... or am I?I am far from being a pious saint but I strive to live my life with eager sincerity. I strive to be quick to admit a mistake and addopt the truth.  I am unafraid to stand up for what's right ( even if my stomach is overflowing with butterflies)....but when it comes down to it I am always Under educated and overweightToo old, too political, Too white.too new, too strict, too lax....and lets face it...yeah, Im a strong willed american woman...I'd argue a brother into a corner If I felt he wasnt taking my side into concideration. But I also know that, when it comes down to it...if the request is Halal...there's no real harm in going with it.Education is another big thing that people falt me on but man I've had it kind of rough and once things finaly calmed down I realy cant figure out what I want to study. It all seems kind of pointless....people study to  get a job that will pay them lots of money......man as long as I have food and a fairly safe roof that doesnt leak much I'm a pretty happy girl alhumdulillahAnyway..

I think a good Muslimah is obviously somone who's Muslim. Who does everything with the understanding that Allah is ever present and ever watchful. A good Muslims is someone who has Taqwaah. Be it a woman or a man. A women doesn't have to wear hijab to pre-clude her taqwah. Like wise, wearing of hijab doesn't indicated taqwah. PS: You'll should be a little bit more realistic.

Asallamu aleykum,Most of muslim sisters have bn blessed with all those qualities that Abdul hamid has listed,it's the way our parent's had set examples but u r not realistic about the arguing bit bcs in real life there has to be few disagreements.

i agreee with all the above comments made, brothers you ought to be honest with your selves, it's NOT pious that you are concerned abt it's the LOOKS! then piety comes  nxt. i have observed alot of brothers who say they want a pious muslimah, but then the fisrt question they ask is if she looks like TYRA banks or BEYONCE! subhanllah ain't nothing wrng if u want beauty but be honesty..say i want a beauty queen wen you are looking! period. fi aminallah

i know a brother who is looking for a pious wife as well he is 39 so if u say u know so many sisters like this why not get ajar and do something good for both of them?
