Recently i have heard of an interesting etymologic discussion on the word 'Allah':

In Quranic language to understand the meaning of a word there is an interesting method. You find the 3 root letters of the word, and then make different combinations of them to find a set of words from those letters. According to theory all words you derived in this set should have a relational meaning. All the words of this set should be derived not only from same letters, but from same meaning also. Here we talk about a root meaning. When applied this theory to word Allah, you get a set of words. And when you investigate it, the root meaning, which has a relation to all words in the set, is really interesting: LOVE. Everybody can make different conclusions from this, and yeah its just a theory perhaps, but it is really interesting to find out LOVE in the root of the name of only god, Allah.

This is something i have just heard and i dont know if it is a confirmed knowledge or not. but i tihnk its interesting to share. Of course Allah knows the best.

PS: since i dont know arabic language, i had no chance to proof-check this. Indeed i searched internet a bit. Although there were some more resources telling about the same theory, there were no proof-check i have found. If any brothers or sisters, who has enough knowledge of arabic language, might investigate more about this, it would be nice i suppose.
