I was just wondering how important is it that the person you marry trim their mustache and leave their beard? I can't imagine marrying a sister that didn't wear hijab and to me the beard and the hijab is one in the same for female and male respectively. (not necessarily in fiqh or how society proceives you) but inshallah you understand what I'm saying. Salaam Alaikum

asalam alakium warhmatula personally i do not mind i encourage the beard but i will not judge on it. rather if i was a man i would not marry if a woman did not wear hijab. in sense yes ur right in that they r same. i think that i would not mind it because i am so used to the culture of men shaving. -i never left usa be4-
