Yeah, so I got it. Can't speak. I joke and 'say' (write down) that I'm like Zakariyah, speaking in signs for 3 days.
I wrote an order for a pizza, and they still got it wrong! I wrote it down! you can't read? Ridiculous.
And my grandmother calls me on my phone and asks how I am doing. I can't speak, it's hard to, it hurts, and she still wants to talk! She means well, but not the smartest way...
*sigh*
I learn a new sympathy for deaf and mute people.
I had that a few weeks ago. I just woke up and didn't have the ability to talk. At first it was fine. I just had a scratchy voice, then I sounded like a crack #####. Then I lost the ability to make most sounds altogether, including the ability to scream. Which terrified me btw... But alhamdulillah I got all better. :3
