struggling with beard
As'salaamu alaikum wa rahmatuallahi wa barakatuh, I finally have a nice beard growing after about 3 months, but I've been getting the urge to shave it off.The struggle to keep it grows harder everyday. Have any other bros had this problem? I'm trying very hard to keep growing it.

Come onnnn brothers, lucky you are not sisters so you dont have to deal with hijab jilbab niqab...all you have to do is do nothing...dont shave.

lol i work as a manager in a pizza shop, i was asked to shave my beard.... i was like no i can leave the job but not my beard..the boss said leave the job then...the next day i was offered job at other pizza place when i told my boss that this is my last day she was like oh no i didnt mean that..it will do if u just trim it and i was like no :P.
guess what brothers she asked me to stay and still i am working in the same place

yes, a lot.
until recently, when my boss forced me to shave it, regardless that its in the policy that state and federal anti-discrimination laws must require them to allow me to wear my beard for religious purposes, and she laughed when i told her i was a muslim :S and also seemed a little bit nervous too.
im looking for a new job so i can grow it out :D

beard is the noor of face so how come when we shave of the noor will look beautifull huh ?
another excuse most brothers give is that they will keep beard when allah will give them the taufeeq...OKAY but to shave of the sunnah has allah given u the taufeeq to do it no ofcourse no.

YES!!! I do that too. Grow it nice and full and then voom! it gets trimmed. THen I look in the mirror and I am disgusted with myself. It is the shaitan whispering in your mind. Don't be fooled. A lot of the brothers I know go through the same thing. Just start to look at it like part of your face. You wouldn't cut your nose off would you? Who are the best people on the planet? MUSLIMS! You won't look weird with a beard, you will look like a Muslim.

Walakumasalam The urge to shave it will go away. I think if you continue to search for information confirming why it is important to grow it then you will get stronger insha Allah. Remember you have beauty in your beard. Ask Allah to help you and take the urge away also.
