Michael - you gotta let us know what'sa-happenin' in the 'quest for a wife' department?-I repeat what Zakisah said:  We are spposed to help one another seriously in all matters.  Marriage has become an annoyance for most, rather than blessing.  The current generation are struggling too, I suppose as the earlier generations did, to settle down & lead strong muslim lifestyles.-You must also talk abt yourself a lill - but heck, I'm not one to advocate marriage-by-internet.  Best of luck & duas for you & the future Mrs Micheal to be. Zaufishan.  :)

I Think Its A Steriotype That Sisters Are Seeking Only Arabs

hmm you dont blog much do you?  Have you found someone  yet? anyway dont despair(easy to say hard to do) you'll find someone when the time is right.

salm walakum wa rahmatuAllah wabarkatoh, I pray this reaches you in strong deen and iman, You know i was just checking out some sisters site and happen to find yours.. alhamduillah, and i checked out your blog and here i am commenting i hope that is ok.. Iam not sure if you remember me and that is ok if you dont. but i find it trully sad in this day in age with the ummah. that we are not helping our sisters and brothers out to find wifes. I personaly am looking to find a husband, and i thought i wasnt being picky when i said i dont care the color or nationality or even care about how much money he makes .. just want the deen and iman, but its been difficalt for me to find a husband exspecially with out a wali.. you know I am not sure if the ummah knows its our duty as muslims to help our brothers and sisters find there spouses? cus i contaceed masjids and imams and people have contacted imams for me, and its just hard to find. and i know that in Islam we can have our prefrences in islam, but i think that the priorty should be pleasing Allah, and for the sake of Allah protect our deen and iman by getting married to someone that has good deen and iman, not the outter apperence or the money in the pocket or what country they come from. it should be for the sake of Allah. and it just sadens me to know that our ummah is not jummping at the chance to help out with one another exspecially about a topic that is soo important to islam, I mean its half our deen marriage protects us from sin, subhanAllah. and you know its allway much harder for a converted muslim. but we have to remeber that with Allahs will we can over come ANYTHING! he created this earth he created you and me. inshAllah he will make it so , so we can find our other half , in the best and halal way as possible. inshAllah. but we have to have faith and just keep putting one foot in front of another.. and NEVER give up. I think that works with any topic but exspically marriage>.. ok lol i will shut up now sorry ... Zakirah

Brother, You have to tell soemthignn about yourself too. If you are serious, please provide more details. InShah Allah, some one will find you and you will find some one. May Allah help you.
