From Neo-Nazi to Muslim..My Journey

Assalaamu Alaykum wa Rahmetullahi wa Barakatuh

    I thought that I may tell about my journey to Islam. I have talked to many in regards to being a new muslim and they have shown great enthusiasm but when I inform them of how I came to Islam...they are without words. Before I accepted Islam I was a 14yr veteran of a neo-nazi skinhead group called the Hammerskins. A very ruthless and violent sect of the skinhead nation. But in January of this year, I asked Allah if he really existed to show me a sign and when I went to sleep that night he did. Picture the western wall in Israel...I was scaling down the wall with many other ppl. Then a flash came about and I was in sujood and looking to my left and there was a male looking at me also in sujood. Then a flash came about and I was staring at the wall from a distance. A figure approahed me in a burka. This figure bent down and when it lifted, it was a cartoon character face of Isa. He raised his arms out wide and said"I am all in the same". When I awoke, I didnt want to tell anyone because I was afraid they would laugh at me. So my first instinct was to start going to church..so I did. But after talking to a friend many weeks later, she said...why were there muslims in the dream? And then it dawned on me and this feeling consumed my very being(uplifting). And the only thing that came to mind was Islam. And I have never looked back since. I reside in an area in which no muslims live except many many miles away...so in turn I am all alone. I find it difficult at times but I strive in the Name of Allah. It has been stated that it is easy for muslims to be muslims where other muslims are but the one who lives with hardships being a muslim where no others are...they will be rewarded double. I look towards that everday. I hope that this blog will spark up conversation with other muslims so that I may have some friends.
