Bismillah Irahman Iraheem
36 yr old dying mother, leaves 6 children behind
Our community would like to ask that the Muslims who read this make dua for a mother whom some of our members have been giving dawah to.
The divorced mother of six beautiful children, ranging in age from 7 on up, was rushed to the local hospital following a massive heart attack. Doctors have said that her brain has all but quit functioning. It is only functioning enough to continue operating the lungs enough to accept the oxygens doctors are providing via mechanical means. She is not expected to recover. Her children are now with their grandmother, who is a member of the Rose Bud Sioux tribe.
We ask that those willing to help the children to please send donations to our masjid at: (please identify that the funds are for the Orphans at Rose Bud)

Salaam alaikum,The children, since they are Native children, are being placed with relatives out at the Rose Bud Reservation. Their grandmother will likely now raise them. They need most of all, economic assistance. The Rose Bud indian reservation is the 2nd poorest tribe in the country. Equal to the economic conditions of Haiti. So its not like they are "rich due to casino money" like most people think about Native tribes. The US government does not give out sums of money. They get less than welfare families get. So this family will struggle, as most on the reservations struggle. It is the on-going plight of the Native American communities across this country (USA). They are the Palestinians of the Plains, while the rest of us are the illegal settlers who benefit from the land their were forced off of.So, if you can help economically in any way, please consider doing so. They children's grandmother is a sober woman (no alcohol). She will just need some help economically to care for this new challenge. Insha Allah, as the children truly are orphans now.Salaam alaikum,
