The Advent of the Mahdi

The Word "Mahdi"

The word "Mahdi" means guided or gifted. Since the scholars agree that he is a normal man, no prophet, someone might wonder how he could be guided. If he would hear the voice of Allah, he would be a prophet, but obviously he doesn't. The only conclusion is that the thoughts of Allah are implemented in the Mahdi's thoughts, so he can't decide between his own thoughts and the thoughts of Allah. At the moment it sounds strange, but I will explain that later.
He is also gifted. That means the Mahdi is intelligent as well as creative. And he must be very creative to solve the conflict in the Middle East and bring Islam to the world, a troubleshooter, the best of the best.

A General Sign

There are many signs that will precede him, a general and very important sign is that he will come at a time when there is great confutation, intense disputes and violent deaths. When people are afflicted by disturbance and experiencing great fear. Calamities will fall upon the people, so much so that a man shall not find a shelter to shelter himself from oppression. There will be battles and fitnaas before his appearance. Every time a fitnaa has come to end, another will start, spread and intensify. The people will be troubled to such an extent that they will long for death. It is then that Imam Mahdi will be sent.

Abu Saeed Al-Khudri has reported that the Messenger of Allah  said "He will be sent at a time of intense disputes and differences among people and earthquakes..." (Ahmed)

Injustice of Unusual Proportions

As far as I know my beloved Allah, he would not be concerned with adults killing each other in wars, since everybody has deserved death due to his sin. But it is a completely another topic with children, who are innocent. Due to the sanctions in Iraq, 500,000 children died. This is an injustice of unusual proportions. Allah heard the cries of the children.
Secretary of US, Madeleine Albright: "I think this is a very hard choice, but the price--we think the price is worth it."
Please think about that: Half a million children died, for the only reason that the western countries have access to oil, to maintain their position as world leaders. The unbelievable injustice reached its height in 1996. Therefore Allah called the Mahdi on the plan, and we will see it took ten years to activate him. However the Mahdi did not become aware of the killing of Iraqi's children before the Americans invaded Iraq and he reached the age of fourty.

The Muslims

A Parable
Matthew 20:1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them (the Jews) into his vineyard.
3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others (the Christians) standing idle in the marketplace,
4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others (the Muslims) standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us (no prophet ever came to the Arabs before Muhammad). He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10 But when the first came (the Jews), they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12 Saying, These last (the Muslims) have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16 So the last (the Muslims) shall be first, and the first last (the Jews): for many be called, but few chosen.

The prophet Muhammad brought wisdom to the Arabs. They are like the advanced believers, they would die for their faith.

Jihad, Armageddon – The Holy War of Truth

The Qur'an calls on to fight the unbelievers, which are atheists and polytheists, in summary: liars (please excuse my harsh words). Even Jesus said that he did not come to bring peace to the world, but a sword, which is also the symbol for Islam. Therefore I am not surprised that the islamic fighters have chosen the USA as one target for their actions, because the USA have turned the meaning of the words “In God we trust” upside down, they sold huge amounts of weaponry to the Middle East and with their interference in Middle East affairs they represent a threat to the world peace. Worst of all too many children in Iraq died due to UN economic sanctions.

The Americans are wondering why God did not prevent the disaster of September 11. The answer is: the president George W. Bush is responsible for the foreign affairs, and the Americans are responsible for electing the president. Therefore nobody is without guilt. A little investigation on the person of George W. Bush reveals that he is a liar. The Americans elected a liar repeatedly, and therefore they are no longer walking on the path of truth. While George W. Bush said that Islam is a peaceful religion, he did not really mean what he said, he said it just to keep the other Arabic nations silent, until he has the chance to attack them later.

Now the question has to be asked if the islamic fighters are choosing the right weaponry to fight liars. I do not think so. The sword is a symbol for the word of God in the Bible, and the word of God is truth. So liars have to be fought with truth. The history is telling us that the truth is much stronger, otherwise the Qur'an would not have survived until this day.
So how can we fight with truth? This is possible with the media, such like newspaper, radio, television and internet. The development of the internet reveals that it will become the main battleground for the fight of truth. Armageddon means “hill of fruits”, and if the truth will have its fruits on the internet, why not assume that Armageddon will be a cyberwar? Now it can be understood why this war is holy, because it is bloodless in the first stage and upholds the values, which are in the holy books.

The Mahdi in the Bible

This is a difficult topic, since we know there are errors in the Bible. The Bible is a compilation of books and if there is at least one book which does not belong into it, the Bible does not qualify to be the Word of God anymore. I found out that Paul was a false apostle. Luke reported about Paul, so his writings have to be rejected as well. Furthermore there are indications that people have changed some verses in the remaining books of the Bible. But God used a language, which has a figurative meaning very often, mainly in prophecy, which made it impossible for the fakers to comprehend, therefore they have not been able to fake everything.

The historical interpretation of the Revelation correctly foretold the rule of the Ottoman Empire: 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour (15 days), and a day (1 year), and a month (30 years), and a year (360 years), for to slay the third part of men.
This period amounts to three hundred and ninety-one years and fifteen days; during which Ottoman supremacy was to exist in Constantinople. It began in 1449 with the voluntary submission of the emperor to the sultan, and ended in 1840 with the voluntary submission of the sultan to Christian Europe.

The Mahdi is described with the term "he who overcomes" in the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation. Allah addressed seven letters to the churches in Asia Minor, which is Turkey nowadays, an islamic country. The letters describe the spiritual progress of a believer.

2:4 Nevertheless I (Allah) have somewhat against thee (the Mahdi), because thou hast left thy first love.

At first sight this looks a little bit strange, but it will become more clear with the following verses. The scholars agree that the Mahdi is a normal man, no prophet. But the Mahdi must be the believer with the most faith, and as such he admires the beauty of Allah's creation, even the beauty of women. So in the beginning the Mahdi is tempted by a beautiful woman most probably, but he restists the temptation, he overcomes this unholy love.

2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I (Allah) will give thee (the Mahdi) a crown of life.

One day in prophecy is equal to one year. So from the start of the Mahdi's story it will take 10 years for him to accomplish to overcome the last thing. With the starting date of 1996, we are reaching the year 2006. Something happened that year, however Allah and the Mahdi know best.

2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He (the Mahdi) that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

The second death is the judgment for the unbelievers to be thrown into hell. So with the first "test" the Mahdi qualifies to enter Paradise.

2:14 But I (Allah) have a few things against thee (the Mahdi), because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed (the wafer and wine in the Catholic Church) unto idols (a statue of their "God"), and to commit fornication.

Please keep in mind that Allah's seven letters to the churches describe the spiritual progress of a believer. So there is a lot of probability that the Mahdi was a Catholic in the beginning, but converts to Islam to follow the true path. The question, why he was not born as a Muslim, will be answered as follows: since the Mahdi is a normal man, and Islam is mainly split in Sunnis and Shias, he would have prejudices against the other group, depending on which group he would belong to, so it would have made things more complicated. When he converts to Islam, he will be free of prejudices.

2:17 ...To him (the Mahdi) that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna (the hidden meanings in the Word of Allah), and will give him a white stone (good fortune), and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

This name was John, and the name means mercy of God. There are two men in the Bible named John: John the Baptizer and John the disciple of the Prophet Jesus, but it is related to the Baptizer, who was a cousin of the Prophet Jesus. More to it later.

2:26 And he (the Mahdi) that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers...

These are the same words that Allah spoke to the Prophet David, more to it later.

2:28 And I (Allah) will give him (the Mahdi) the morning star.

The morning star is identified with Lucifer in the Bible, the name means light bearer.

3:5 He (the Mahdi) that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment (without sin); and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life (eternal life), but Allah will confess his name, and before his angels.

3:10 Because thou (the Mahdi) hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

No doubt mainly the Christians will think the Mahdi is the antichrist, so they will experience great fear.

3:12 Him (the Mahdi) that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

The new name is David, which means beloved. Please note the word pillar: the first pillar in Islam is the Shahadah: "I testify that there is no God but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah". This marks the moment the Mahdi becomes a Muslim.

3:21 To him (the Mahdi) that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne...

The Mahdi will finally be the representative of Allah on earth.


However there are even more verses in the Bible, which are related to the Mahdi.
Zechariah 13:5 But he (the Mahdi) shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth (again a relation to the Prophet David, since he was a shepherd).
Jeremiah 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King (the Mahdi) shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
Please note that the following verse was written long time after David's death:
Ezekiel 37:24 And David  (the Mahdi) my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

Lucifer, the Light Bearer

There is a lot of confusion about Lucifer, it is not clear if he is Satan or not. There has always been the question asked, why did Allah create Satan, since he caused so much trouble? Did Allah make a mistake? No, he did not. Allah's ultimate victory will be when Satan repents from his sins, and he did.

It is said in a book, “Kitab Al-Fitan” by Abu `Abdullah Nu`aim bin Hammad, that Abu Hurayrah had two areas of knowledge he gained from the Prophet; one of them he imparted, while he hid the other. Abu Hurayrah commented on that saying that if he had imparted the other area of knowledge, he would have been slaughtered (and he pointed to his neck when saying so). The same hadith of Abu Hurayrah's "hidden knowledge" is also confirmed in Sahih Bukhari:
 
Narrated Abu Hurayrah:
"I have memorized two kinds of knowledge from Allah's Apostle . I have propagated one of them to you and if I propagated the second, then my pharynx (throat) would be cut (i.e. killed)."

Every human being will experience judgement after death, but it is not the same way with Lucifer, Satan, who will stay unto the end, since he is made out of fire, as it is written in the  Qur'an . But what happens to him when he dies? Answer: he will be reborn.

To make this clear, here are ancient riddles:
John 3:1-10
3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and {of} the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
3:9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

How can Miriam be the Mother of Isa, when she (Miriam the Prophetess) was the sister of Aaron and the daughter of Amran?

Answer: Prophets are born again.

Now there are hints in the Bible that the Prophet David lived past lifes as the Prophet Joseph and the Prophet Moses. And there is a relation to the Prophet John, the Baptizer as well as Lucifer.

So theses are the 7 names: Lucifer, Joseph, Moses, David, John, Muhammad and finally the Mahdi. Now it is clear why the Mahdi returns together with the Prophet Jesus: They have been cousins in a past life, and the Mahdi once was the Prophet Muhammad. Why is the Mahdi no prophet anymore? The answer will be given in the following chapter.

Mental Challenge

There once has been a king in Babylon, Nebukadnezar, who thought to be God. Allah punished him with a mental illness, which lasted for 7 years. After Nebukadnezar recovered, he acknowledged the Most High God, Allah.

Now the first realization of the Mahdi to have an "extended consciousness" led him to the belief that he is a higher being. Allah had to show him who is the Master. The Mahdi became mentally ill and heard voices, good and evil. After the Mahdi regained his faith in Allah, he asked Allah not to talk to him with a voice, but be implemented in his thoughts. This way Allah was able to perfectly guide the Mahdi with fulfilling him his wish.
But since the Mahdi has no chance to realize if his thoughts are his own thoughts or the thoughts of Allah, he is no prophet anymore.

Time Is Running Out

It is prophesied that the Mahdi will rule for seven years. Why not longer? There is no hint in prophecy that the Mahdi will be assassinated, neither will he die in battle. So he must have a terminal illness, such like cancer. Why doesn't Allah protect him? Maybe it is the Mahdi's own fault, if he is a smoker.
