Stereotypes of Arabs presented in Western culture and American culture have been historically and predominantly negative. Stereotypical representations of Arabs are often manifested in a society's media, literature, theater and other creative expressions, and often have adverse repercussions for Arab Americans and Muslims in daily interactions and in current events.
What can Arab filmmakers and media outlets do to help change this trend? join the debate in the comments below.

Russian and Vietnamese used to (or still are) have this negative stereotype. Now its Arab time, dunno who's next. Hollywood needs to find an image to be the bad guy and be blamed, seems like Arab fits with their imagination (for now).
Everytime i watched a movie and find out that the bad guy is Arab, i said "ooooww pleeaseee...' and turn it off right away. Its not worth to see. Cant they make a film better than that, like Children of Heaven for example ???.
