inshallah you are all well in the best of health and in the strongest of eman by the Grace of Allah swt ameen
well to be honest the reason i am writing this short little note, is because i am getting a little annoyed lately. With everyone sending me private messages with articles. mashallah i am glad we are all making the effort and inshallah we have the right intentions, but time and time again i ask people brothers and sisters not to send me articles that do not state where it comes from.
i will never EVER EVER believe what is written , withouth proof of hadith or quranic ayat etc so that i can inshallah check. its not that i doubt you or anything, its more to the fact i want to verify and be able to confirm it myself. this only strengthens our eman. so please brothers and sisters please do not follow word of mouth without evidence. it has the potential to weaken us.
for example recently, a brother told me something, i did not follow it. as he could not provide me with evidence. he in return said to me. oh aisah, i have this on good grounds, i got this from a knowledgeable brother. mashallah fair enough. but at the end of the day its chinese whispers, things get mislaid to other people as we cannot always remember it exactly. thats why its even more important to supply the hadith narration or ayat or verse so we can refer to it.
i know what i am trying to say, so i apologise if this does not come out correctly. ALLAH KNOWS BEST and my intentions.
but id like to end by saying JAZAKHALLAH KHAIR to all those who send me islamic articles. and to those who quote where it is from and show the evidence. may ALLAH reward you kindly ameen
