Youtube is Evil

Bismillah hir Rahmanir Rahim, Dear Brothers and Sisters, I want you to know that I have been vacillating on a decision for some months now, and that is to avoid/boycott Youtube because of its inherent dangers. I mean to say that this web facility is a form of evil that vastly outweighs any good it can, from time to time, do. It is like alchohol in that sense. It may provide some benefitial services, such as a Harun Yahya lecture or an insight into Muslim life, but these positive elements are by now like isolated flowers in a field of poison ivy. It is impossible to surf youtube on even innocent topics such as 'hijab' without inevitably coming across vile parodies of that elevated subject. Oft times you do not know what horrors you are about to be treated to because they are concelaed within an innoccous title. One such event occured to me today (I will not mention it here) that was so profane I reacted in sheer revulsion. Brothers and Sisters I think the time has come to abandon Youtube in favour of something that is securely and definitely halal. Maybe something like that exists already? One thing is sure is that it must be created if it does not yet exist. However in any case, my determination is that Youtube is an evil and dark malevolence on the internet.
